“Teaching Sisters of St. Dorothy, Daughters of the Sacred Hearts” in India

In 1998, we started a new community at Moongode, Thiruvananthapuram, to help the diocese with various pastoral activities. In the beginning the community was occupied with the education ministry. The sisters were offering a free service in the diocesan school, and then they entered into various roles and responsibilities in the schools. Some sisters taught in the Kindergarten and the Elementary School. Today they are engaged in different pastoral activities, family visits, BCC animation both at the diocesan and forane levels etc.
