“Teaching Sisters of St. Dorothy, Daughters of the Sacred Hearts” in India

Three more butterflies added to the garden of the Sacred Heart

6th may 2017, it’s a joyful and graceful day for the three of the Dorothean, who made their final commitment to their Eternal Spouse. It was a great day, in which we affirmed our everlasting togetherness with our God. With joy we sing “into your hands Lord we comment our spirit”.

It was not the merit of ours alone. But God alone who guided us through the green pastures and the bitter vallies as well as the prayerful support of the superiors, sisters, parents and all the well wishers.

Our final Profession preparations were longed for one year. It was really a choicest programme arranged by the provincial in FCC Generalate from which we benefitted a lot. And so many spiritual programme also added by it. Junior’s mistress Sr. Gracy Alamkott arranged the programmes well and prepared us for the day.

The day was blessed by Mar. Jose Puthenveettil auxiliary bishop of Ernakulam Angamaly Archdiocese, the message passed by him remind of the greatness of our call in this era and to bear in mind that it is not by our strength but by the strength of God we are called and sustained. The concelebrants were Rev. Fr. Francis Vattukulam, the Rector of Don Bosco Seminary and Rev. Fr. Varghese Puthenghadi, the parish priest. The presence of priests, religious, parents, family members added the colour of the day.

Togetherness of the Dorotheans actualized the merit of the day. Heart is full. So words are few. Thanking you all for what you are and your being to us. Now it’s time to fly away with different missions carrying you in our Hearts, expecting your prayers…
